With the game being out for more than a year, it’s become clear that Riot definitely knows what they are doing.
The developer has no experience with the genre at all, and the tactical shooter crowd is a notoriously hard one to please. When Riot games initially revealed their plans to release a competitive shooter that was, for all intents and purposes, meant to challenge games such as CS:GO a lot of people had their doubts.
